    Day 1. Understanding Bullying and Its Impact

  1. Welcome, and introductions;
  2. Overview of course objectives and expectations;
  3. Understanding the types of bullying (physical, verbal, relational, cyberbullying);
  4. Exploring the causes and effects of bullying on victims, perpetrators, and bystanders;
  5. Group discussion: Personal experiences with bullying in schools;
  6. Practical exercise: Identifying signs of bullying.
  7. Day 2. Coaching Skills for Teachers

  8. Introduction to coaching methods: Listening, questioning, and guiding students towards solutions;
  9. Building trust and rapport with students to encourage open communication;
  10. Role of emotional intelligence in coaching students through conflicts;
  11. Practical exercise: Role-playing teacher-student coaching sessions to address bullying situations;
  12. Reflection: How coaching can empower students to handle peer conflicts.
  13. Day 3. Anti-Bullying Strategies and Classroom Management

  14. Implementing proactive classroom strategies to prevent bullying;
  15. Creating a classroom culture that promotes respect and empathy among students;
  16. Practical methods for fostering inclusivity and peer support;
  17. Workshop: Designing anti-bullying policies and incorporating them into daily routines
  18. Day 4. Intervention Techniques and Conflict Resolution

  19. Recognizing when to intervene in bullying situations and the appropriate methods to use;
  20. Conflict resolution strategies for mediating disputes between students;
  21. Supporting victims: Providing emotional and practical support;
  22. Working with perpetrators: Helping students take accountability and change their behaviour;
  23. Practical exercise: Simulating conflict resolution in bullying scenarios;
  24. Creating a Long-term Anti-Bullying Action Plan.
  25. Day 5. Review of Progress and Personal Growth

    By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  34. Intervene effectively in bullying situations: Develop skills to mediate conflicts, support students involved in bullying (both victims and perpetrators), and create action plans for long-term resolution

    Certificate:

    Participants who attend at least 80% of the course will receive a Certificate of Attendance either on Thursday or Friday.

    Schedule:

    Classes take place in the morning or afternoon at the providers' discretion. The schedule outlines may differ significantly depending on participants’ requests and on the trainer, who has discretion over any changes.
