    This course provides educators with the knowledge and skills to effectively incorporate project-based learning into their teaching practices. Through a comprehensive five-day program,participants will explore the benefits of project-based learning, learn strategies for designing and implementing engaging projects, and discover how projects can seamlessly integrate with curriculum standards and subject areas. The course covers topics such as project management,assessment and evaluation, technology integration, student engagement and motivation,differentiation, and showcasing project work. By the end of the course, participants will be equipped with practical tools and resources to enhance student learning through project-based experiences and foster critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity in the classroom.

    Course Curriculum

    Day 1. Monday

    Session 1: Introduction to project-Based Learning.

    Session 2: Designing Effective Project-Based Learning Experiences

  9. Identifying learning objectives and outcomes for project-based learning
  10. Strategies for aligning projects with curriculum standards and subject areas.
  11. Planning project-based learning experiences that engage and challenge students.
  12. Session 3: Selecting and Structuring Project Topics.

  13. Techniques for selecting project topics that align with students' interests and abilities
  14. Considering cross-curricular connections in project selection
  15. Structuring projects to facilitate student engagement, collaboration, and critical thinking
  16. Day 3. Wednesday

    Session 4: Assessment and Evaluation in Project-Based Learning

  17. Developing appropriate assessment methods for project-based learning
  18. Strategies for assessing both process and product in projects
  19. Providing effective feedback to support student learning and growth
  20. Session 5: Project Management and Collaboration

  21. Introducing project management techniques for students

    By the end of this course, you will be able to:

    Note

    The program condenses the content further, allowing for more in-depth discussions and activities within each session. However, it is important to note that participants may need to dedicate additional time outside of the program for reflection, planning, and implementation of project-based learning in their own teaching contexts.


    Certificate:

    Participants who attend at least 80% of the course will receive a Certificate of Attendance either on Thursday or Friday.

    Schedule:

    Classes take place in the morning or afternoon at the providers' discretion. The schedule outlines may differ significantly depending on participants’ requests and on the trainer, who has discretion over any changes.

    Depending on the course, you may be required to bring your own laptop.
