The course focuses on practical strategies for educators to develop strong, cooperative teams both among themselves and with students
In todays diverse educational landscape, fostering a collaborative and inclusive classroom is essential to ensuring that all students feel valued and supported. The course focuses on practical strategies for educators to develop strong, cooperative teams both among themselves and with students. This course explores how teamwork can enhance communication, trust, and empathy in the classroom, creating a positive and inclusive environment. Additionally, the course highlights the importance of physical activities as a tool for building team cohesion and promoting inclusion. By stepping outside the traditional classroom setting, educators can engage students in real-world experiences that strengthen teamwork, encourage problem-solving, and foster social-emotional learning. Participants will gain insights into how teambuilding games, teamwork and physical activities can break down barriers, facilitate collaborative learning, and help create supportive spaces for all students, regardless of their backgrounds or abilities.
The course utilizes an interactive approach, combining workshops, group discussions, case studies, and collaborative exercises. Participants will engage in reflective practices, team- building activities, and role-playing scenarios to explore how teamwork can be integrated into their teaching methods. Peer feedback, as well as guidance from the trainer, will be provided throughout the course to ensure the practical application of strategies. Learning outcomes will be informally assessed through active participation, group discussions, and final presentations.
The trainer will present the training materials by using the digital learning resources including video, audio, text, websites, and images, Power Point (PPT) presentations. Participants will receive hard and/or digital copy material, which covers the content of the training.
